Mayflower District Camporee - Revenge of the Anglo Saxons

In October a number of Scouts attending the Mayflower Fall Camporee held at the Quarries

Scout Campsite near Milton Keynes. The Camporee was themed on the Anglo Saxon

Kingdom established in England over one thousand years ago.

The Camporee included many fun Anglo-Saxon themed activities including archery, axe

throwing, period arts and crafts and games.
