Community Service Day at Three Acres Play Project with ASL

Troop 401 and Pack 175 joined forces to volunteer for The American School in London's fall Community Service Day. Together with other ASL volunteers, we were assigned to the Three Acres Community Play Project in Belsize Park. The play project provides before and after school clubs for the local community and has been a fixture of the neighborhood for 53 years. We spent four hours gardening, trimming back ivy, spreading bark around the play areas, and raking bags and bags of leaves which we then burned. The scouts had a great time and the difference we made was impressive!
